For those of you who don't know, BB creams are designed to be a skincare and makeup product rolled in one and so have added skincare benefits along with some coverage. Now this baby isn't going to be covering up any major blemishes, but it does hide uneven skin tone and minor imperfections, making it my perfect everyday base. This feels so light on the skin that I can hardly feel it, and gives a natural but beautiful finish - dewy, but not oily; long wearing but not flat matte. Whenever I wear this, I always get compliments on my skin. I apply this with my Real Techniques buffing brush which I find gives the best coverage and nicest finish. Although when first applied, this does give a slight grey cast, it goes away when blended.
Unfortunately, this does only come in one shade (come on Dr Jart, make some more shades!) so if you are really pale of really dark, this is probably not going to work for you. For reference, I am a MAC NC20-30 and matches my skin very well. My skin type is normal/ combination and I don't set with powder, so for you oily skin girls, I still recommends this, but would suggest you powder over the top. If you have dry skin, I wouldn't worry about the fact that this is oil-free as when I do get dry patches, it does not stick, and in fact, keeps them looking nice and not flaky.
Although on the more pricy side at £18, you do get 50ml of product while average foundations tend to be 30ml, so you do get your money's worth! Plus, the product is so amazing I can excuse the price tag.
Overall, I highly recommend this product, but would suggest trying in store if you are worried about it matching your skin tone. You can purchase this at your Boots for £18 though it is on 3 for 2 at the time of posting!
